ATTORNEY General (AG) and Minister of Legal Affairs, Mr. Anil Nandlall has assured that the Leonora Magistrate’s Court, West Coast Demerara, will be functional again by this August.

IT is anticipated that the Family Court would become operational later this year. This is according to Minister of Legal Affairs and Attorney General (AG), Anil Nandlall
In 2009 Cabinet granted a two-fold approval to establish a Family court and to erect the structure in the compound of the Supreme Court while the rules of the family court were passed and tabled in the National Assembly in 2012.
