Nursing School moving to boost teaching staff PDF Print E-mail

MEASURES are being taken to boost the teaching staff at the Georgetown School of Nursing after four full-time tutors retired in the last five months among a complement of 12 full-time tutors  at the beginning of 2012.
In addition, plans are on stream to  increase the number of fulltime tutors by employing an additional 10 within the next six months.

Policemen manning a roadblock on Saturday at Wisroc, Wismar, arrested two men after they stopped and searched a minibus in which there were three motorcycles that were illegally imported through Lethem.

RORAIMA Airways last Friday evening at Duke Lodge Restaurant paid a special tribute to its former chief pilot, Captain Miles Williams with a special Roraima Award.
Close friends in the aviation and military sectors gathered to celebrate his 48th birthday and participate in the award ceremony.
