COME tomorrow at the Carifesta Avenue-based Marian Academy’s Auditorium, the Japan Karate Association/World Federation Guyana (National Park Dojo) will be hosting their annual National Karate Championships from 13:00hrs.
Students from their HQ Dojo at the National Park, Thomas Lands, Port Mourant and Canje Berbice Dojos will be participatingl. They will all be competing for the top positions in their category, while selections from this championship will determine who represents Guyana at the 2013 JKA/WF America International Karate Camp and Goodwill tournament to be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. All are encouraged to come out and witness firsthand the competitiveness, professionalism and high standard of the children, teenagers and adults; along with the thrilling Karate demonstrations that will be very entertaining.. Tickets can be purchased from any of their members or HQ Dojo or at the venue. |
