AS one leaves or is implicitly asked to leave an area of service, one thinks of the significant contributions one has made in the course of employment and wonders to what extent was one ever appreciated. My records show that I received the following Certificates of Appreciation: - a) For Service in the Basic Education Access and Management Support Interactive Radio Instruction Mathematics Programme as Editor/Writer (2007) b) Distinguished Service to the Caribbean Examinations Council (2003) I wish to express my gratitude to the above units. At the age of 64, these certificates do make me so happy, giving me a feeling that after 44 years of service two units once said to me ‘Thank you’. |
