National Communications Network (NCN) wishes to refute claims made by the Alliance For Change in its press release dated October 18, 2012. technical difficulties which the institution is working ardently to rectify. Also, provision was made to facilitate a representative of the AFC to witness the ‘Feedback’ process since it provides the wider audience with the opportunity to contribute to the programme. This information was communicated via letter dated October 8, 2012 to the AFC. In keeping with our commitment to provide the public with information pertinent to nation-building, NCN has acceded to produce debate on the issues of: Alleged Opposition Corruption and Conflict of Interest, and Discrimination. This decision was taken as a result of overwhelming public response to the initial seven-part ‘Debate Series on Corruption’. The issue of Discrimination would be produced live and aired via NCN media (Voice of Guyana, NCN chn. 11 and web streaming) on Sunday, October 21 and Wednesday, October 24 at 19:00 hrs. |
