Police find arms, ammo cache in Lethem house PDF Print E-mail

POLICE yesterday afternoon came up with a quantity of arms and ammunition in a search on a residence at Tabatinga in Lethem.

The cache included four automatic rifles, four magazines and 389 rounds of ammunition, six M16 rifles with two magazines and 74matching rounds, and two schrapnel hand grenades.
The police also found one Icon VHF radio set, one Icon hand-held radio set, and one roll of camouflage material.
A man and a woman have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with investigations.
