SURAJ Pollard also known as “duck” of 130 Duke street Kingston appeared in court yesterday, on a charge of break and enter larceny.
It has been alleged that within the period of July 28-29 at 114 Duke street, the man stole two power saws valued at $210,000 property of Ganga Bharat. The matter was laid indictable and no plea was required before magistrate Hazel Octive Hamilton at the Georgetown magistrates’ court. Bail was denied for the man as police prosecutor corporal Denise Griffith informed the court that the man has a pending matter in court of similar nature. He was remanded to prison and will make another appearance in court on September 18. |
