TWO issues recently caught my attention. The first is at the commissioning of an AFC office in Enmore.
I quote from the SN article of June 21, 2012 “Ramjattan urged those gathered at the ceremony to appreciate the AFC’s affiliation with APNU, while noting they share a common cause”. A common cause? My God! What a revelation! What an exposure! I was petrified, this is indeed a WRONG TURN! What good does APNU (PNC) has to offer to this country and its people? When they have already proven their unworthiness: when we have already tasted their bitter rule; when we already felt the pain of their undemocratic and incompetent reign in office. Guyanese who are old enough would remember the horror days of the PNC regime, and today Ramjattan proudly glorifies the PNC in APNU. Shame on you Ramjattan, indeed you can never be a Jagan. You are a traitor. Secondly Mr. Editor, in the June 22, 2012 issue of the SN Khemraj Ramjattan is calling on the government to revisit its plan to increase the electricity rates for Linden. He is saying that there should be no increase in tariffs (equals no increase electricity rates for Linden). However, not long ago he supported budget cuts for the removal of subsidies which would result in increased electricity rates for people on the coast. I find Ramjattan to be most disrespectful to us on the coast. I maintain all Guyanese should be treated equally. No preferential treatment for one area while the others suffer. Is this the equality Ramjattan speaks about? Instead he should have called for it the other way around, and that is to bring Linden’s rates on par with the rest of Guyana. I see he is now the mouth- piece and fighter for the Lindeners. But I want him to know that not everyone is afraid of unrest. People would not allow themselves to be bullied as he has allowed himself to be bullied by PNC/ APNU. I see he is trying to be a fireball against the PPP, but when he faces the PNC/ APNU he is spineless. He has proven that he is nothing but a puppet for the PNC/APNU. |
