| Chanderpaul replaces Bishoo in squad to face Barbados |

THE West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in a press release last evening confirmed that the Guyana squad will travel to Barbados today for their Regional 4-Day match against Barbados scheduled to start on Friday at the Kensington Oval.
The squad, which has been participating in the Regional 4-Day Tournament will continue to do so save for one change with Shivnarine Chanderpaul replacing Devendra Bishoo. Bishoo who was previously in the Guyana squad has been selected to the West Indies squad for the first three Digicel One Day Internationals v Australia and is encamped with the West Indies squad in preparation for the Digicel Series. Chanderpaul, having been originally named in the Guyana squad at the start of the Regional 4-Day Tournament, but who missed the first four rounds of matches to play in the Bangladesh Premier League comes in for Bishoo. The Guyana Squad reads:: Christopher Barnwell, Ronsford Beaton, Brandon Bess, Shivnarine Chanderpaul (captain) Derwin Christian, Royston Crandon, Narsingh Deonarine, Assad Fudadin, Trevon Griffith Chanderpaul Hemraj, Leon Johnson, Veerasammy Permaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan Head Coach: Esaun Crandon, Team Manager: David Black and Assistant Coach: David Harper |
