WITH the countless experiences I have had over the years travelling on water, I can't recall an instance seeing so many heads cramped in such a small vessel which to the eyes were heavily overloaded and no safety jackets worn or seen. Many will tend to agree with the SN report carried in its 6.25.09 issue and captioned "Relatives of Abary Creek victims haunted by tragedy that unfolded before them." For the record, it's always sad to learn when persons lose their lives in such tragic circumstances, but in this particular case, the surviving relatives from the incident has got to take full responsibility for their lack of personal safety and there is no blame game to be played. In layman's term, you created that tragedy which is still haunting to date. If I am also correct, did I see someone from the photo (female) in smiles while the vessel was travelling overloaded? T.
